Industrial Maintenance Technician

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Barrington, IL, 60010. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's machinery and equipment. If you have a passion for troubleshooting and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance safety measures.Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as needed.Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician or similar role.Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to on-call situations.Fabrication experience a plus.Schematics and BlueprintsYou should be proficient in:120/208/240/480 Voltage SystemsElectrical RepairPneumatics TroubleshootingMaintenance and Repair SkillsIndustrial Electrical ExperienceIndustrial Electrical SystemsHydraulic Systems & ComponentsElectrical Schematic ReadingMachine Safety Inspections #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
