- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including slicing fish, rolling sushi rice, and assembling sushi rolls with precision and creativity.
- Work closely with the Chef to ensure all sushi dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and food safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi bar area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock and storage of ingredients.
- Help with general kitchen duties, including dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Support kitchen staff during peak periods by assisting with food preparation tasks as needed.
- Follow instructions from the Chef and Manager to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while performing duties in a fast-paced environment.
