Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of lvn experience
• Previous nursing experience in a corrections setting is preferred
• Active tx nursing license
• American heart association bls
• Applicant must be able to pass a background check before starting work

Correctional nurse contract details:

• $1,436 - $1,568 per week*
• 13-week full-time contract contracts with block booking
• Noc shift available

Additional details:

• Various unit security levels available for travel correctional nurse contracts in texas
• Lvns have the option to stay where they are or move to a new location when extending their correctional nursing contract with shc
• Duties will include but are not limited to medication administration, immunizations, admissions, and emergency first aid
