Private Capital Finance, AVP

A leading FinTech/Asset Manager is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Private Equity Fund Finance team, focusing on private capital fund accounting and administration. This role partners closely with internal teams, third-party administrators, fund managers, and clients, and reports to the Vice President of Fund Finance. The position is based in the Greenwich, CT office with a hybrid in-office schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quarterly valuations and general ledger activity in partnership with third-party administrators
• Review fund expenses, accruals, and investor allocations to ensure accuracy and compliance with partnership agreements
• Review and approve capital account statements, management fees, capital calls, and distributions
• Reconcile accounting data between internal systems and external administrators and resolve discrepancies
• Support preparation and review of annual fund financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Liaise with underlying fund managers and handle ad hoc fund finance requests

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 8+ years of experience in asset management or financial services accounting/operations
• Experience with private capital or alternative investment fund administration preferred
• Advanced degree or credentials (MBA, CPA, CFA, CAIA) a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills, integrity, and interest in technology-enabled processes

Compensation & Work Model
Base salary range of $110,000-$145,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Hybrid schedule with in-office Monday-Thursday and remote flexibility on Fridays.
