Software Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE This is an exciting entry level opportunity for an emerging software developer to join a fast paced, technology focused team. Working directly within the company's operations and technology group, you will help design, build, and maintain software solutions, internal platforms, and data driven tools that support the broader organization. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants real world experience building software where quality, uptime, and accuracy are non negotiable. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Software Development Design, develop, test, and maintain web based applications and internal software platforms using .NET (C#) and related Microsoft technologies Build and consume RESTful APIs to support integration between internal systems, ERP platforms, and web based front ends Write clean, well documented SQL queries and stored procedures to manage and retrieve data from relational databases Collaborate with cross functional teams to translate business requirements into functional software solutions Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to improve performance and reliability Systems & Data Integration Build and support data collection, tracking, and reporting applications used across the organization Integrate software systems with connected devices, IIoT sensors, and networked equipment Identify and implement process improvements through software automation and tooling Quality, Compliance & Documentation Follow established software development and quality procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards Maintain thorough documentation of application code, system configurations, and software change activity Support compliance with applicable cybersecurity and data handling requirements, including ITAR and DFARS Work cooperatively across departments in a supportive, team oriented environment QUALIFICATIONS 0 to 2 years of professional or academic software development experience Proficiency in .NET and C#, including object oriented programming principles and design patterns Working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write queries, joins, and stored procedures against relational databases Experience building or consuming RESTful APIs Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non technical colleagues #J-18808-Ljbffr Emerald Resource Group
