Now Hiring: Prep / Machine Operator

Location: Aurora, CO

Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Overtime: Available based on workload (currently averaging 40-60 hours per week)

Position Overview

Join a growing manufacturing team that fabricates and assembles conveyor systems for warehouses, airports, and large industrial facilities, including projects supporting Denver International Airport (DIA).

As a Prep / Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in preparing materials, operating fabrication equipment, and ensuring components meet quality standards before moving to welding and final assembly. This is a great opportunity for individuals with manufacturing experience who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for fabrication by cutting, cleaning, labeling, and staging metal components
• Operate industrial fabrication equipment such as saws, presses, and other production machinery
• Set up machinery by selecting proper tooling and adjusting controls to meet job specifications
• Monitor machine performance and identify equipment issues or irregularities
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional requirements are met
• Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings
• Use hand and power tools to support fabrication and assembly processes
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Assist fabrication teams by preparing components for installation and assembly

Qualifications

Required

• Previous manufacturing or production experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work safely in a heavy industrial environment

Preferred

• Experience operating fabrication or production equipment
• Metal fabrication or machine operation experience
• Knowledge of conveyor systems, structural steel, or industrial equipment manufacturing

Schedule & Overtime

Regular Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Overtime Schedule

• 4:30 AM - 2:30 PM when overtime is required
• Overtime opportunities vary based on workload

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
