Avionics System Development
You will provide technical management of avionics system development, design, analysis, test and evaluation, production and in-service and life-cycle support for modifications to the assigned program.
You will perform system integration, test and analysis necessary to transform operational needs into avionics system descriptions, integrate related technical engineering specialties, and coordinate the efforts of other engineering disciplines.
You will provide engineering management and engineering support throughout the aircraft life cycle including advanced development and in-service engineering.
You will lead the design modification, acquisition, integration, validation and final approval of the avionics equipment, providing recommendations for cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs to leadership in support of operational missions.
You will ensure that all technical and operational requirements are met for the development, integration, and testing of applicable avionics and related modifications.
You will coordinate specific avionics systems engineering efforts within the assigned Program Office, at contractor facilities, and with the Fleet support teams.
