Registered Nurse - Post Surgical PACU

Role Overview: A competent Nurse practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing contingencies and long-term goals. Key Responsibilities Deliver nursing care following ANA standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side-effects, and document patient information. Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers. Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to care providers to manage clinical situations effectively. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. At least 1 year of related nursing experience preferred. Current RN license and BLS certification required. ACLS and PALS certifications mandatory. Completion of onboarding, orientation, and annual competency validations. Additional Requirements Experience in perioperative or OR nursing is preferred. Must attend required training and obtain necessary certifications within specified grace periods.
