Tech - MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

$1640.16/week - Job Summary: Performs laboratory testing and analysis as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Lab Scientist, ensuring accurate diagnostic results to support patient care. Responsible for specimen processing, testing, and reporting within a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment. Responsibilities: Collect and prepare blood and other specimens for laboratory testing using age-appropriate techniques. Handle, process, and analyze a variety of specimen types following established protocols to maintain sample integrity. Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment to perform diagnostic tests accurately. Complete computer-based tasks including patient registration, test order entry, and documentation of test results. Ensure compliance with all safety, privacy, and regulatory standards, including documentation and quality control procedures. Collaborate with healthcare team members to verify and report test results promptly. Qualifications: Hold a valid license or certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Lab Scientist. Demonstrate at least 5 years of recent experience in a clinical laboratory setting. Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Have experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical records systems. Show proficiency in laboratory testing methodologies and equipment operation.
