Construction Superintendent

Paul Borg Construction Company is seeking an experienced and hands-on Superintendent . This individual will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience as a Superintenden t managing commercial construction projects, including projects with budgets exceeding $10 millio n. Experience working on municipal, county, or other public-sector project s is highly preferred. The successful candidate will be a strong leader who excels at coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and fostering a collaborative jobsite environment. Key Responsibiliti Oversee all daily field operations from project mobilization through final completio Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure efficient workflow Maintain and manage the project schedule, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved Lead daily coordination meetings and communicate project expectations to all trade Monitor construction activities to ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and quality standard Enforce all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and site‑specific safety requirements Conduct routine site inspections and proactively identify and resolve construction issue Coordinate inspections with municipal agencies and ensure all work complies with applicable codes and regulations Collaborate closely with the Project Manager regarding project progress, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and change order Maintain accurate daily reports, site logs, safety documentation, and project records Coordinate deliveries, equipment usage, material staging, and overall site logistics Ensure the project site remains clean, organized, and professionally maintained throughout constructio Qualificati onsRequi Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing commercial construction projec Experience managing projects with construction values of $10 million or grea t Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, and quality control Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documen Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and managing complex construction schedule Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety best practic Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skil Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, or similar field management too Prefe Experience manag ing municipal, county, or other government‑funded construction proj e Experience with adaptive reuse, renovations, hospitality, or restaurant construct OSHA 30 Certification CPR/First Aid Certification Experience coordinating building inspections, permitting, and public agency requireme nts.
