Regional Account Manager - Great Lakes

Regional Account Manager responsible for establishing and managing strategic relationships with health plans, PBMs, and pharmacy networks in the Great Lakes region. The role focuses on contract negotiation, access strategy execution, and driving pharmacy benefit coverage and pull-through.
Responsibilities
- Lead contract negotiations with regional PBMs, health plans, employers, and pharmacy networks
- Develop value propositions using financial modeling, claims analytics, and health economic data
- Secure pharmacy formulary coverage, distribution agreements, and reimbursement pathways
- Drive execution of pharmacy access strategies across field and inside sales teams
- Build senior-level relationships with PBMs, specialty pharmacies, and payer organizations to influence policy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life science, business, marketing, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in market access, regional accounts, or managed markets in pharma, biotech, or medical device
- Demonstrated success negotiating contracts with PBMs, health plans, or specialty pharmacies
- Deep understanding of pharmacy benefit landscape, PBM contracting, and specialty distribution
- Strong analytical skills to develop data-driven account strategies
- Proven negotiation and influencing abilities with C-suite executives
- Experience with hub services, patient access programs, and co-pay assistance models
Compensation: $160,000-$189,000 base annually plus incentive compensation
