System Engineer - Platform Integration

Salary: $80,000 - 200,000 per year Requirements:

• We require 10+ years of experience in firmware engineering, with a focus on embedded systems and platform integration.
• We need strong programming skills in C, C++, assembly, shell scripting, and Python for firmware development.
• We expect deep knowledge of Linux internals, including kernel architecture, applications, and IPC.
• We require expertise in low-level interfaces and protocols such as I2C, I3C, GPIO, USB, LTPI, SGPIO, UART, MCTP, eSPI, and SSIF.
• We need proven capability in BMC porting and the ability to adapt BMC solutions to custom hardware and proprietary algorithms independently.
• We require experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and ARM-based architectures.
• We expect comprehensive understanding of firmware architecture, including bare-metal programming and security implementations.
• Preferred: extensive experience in end-to-end server bring-up and high-performance AI server platform architecture.
• Preferred: experience with the OpenBMC stack, including customization and integration across platforms.

• We implement firmware capabilities that enable communication with peripherals over SPI, I2C, SGPIO, LTPI, PCIe, and related protocols, in line with chipset specifications and datasheets.
• We work closely with customers to provide technical direction and help them resolve platform integration challenges.
• We deliver both strategic and hands-on technical support for assigned customer accounts.
• We troubleshoot complex issues across varied customer environments and apply practical problem-solving to reach effective resolutions.
• We ensure security compliance, including secure boot and platform root of trust protections.
• We integrate our Secure AI engine solutions into customer platforms, supporting NVIDIA, Intel, and AMD-based systems.
• We develop and maintain BMC software for system monitoring, event logging, WebUI, and other core platform functions.
