Respiratory Therapist

Overview Location: UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital - Highlands Ranch, CO Department: HRH RT Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Pay: $31.61 - $47.41 per hour (dependent on experience) This position is onsite; no hybrid or remote option. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). State licensure. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification. PALS certification. Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer (CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire). Responsibilities Provide top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care using respiratory therapy protocols and best practices to promote optimized care. Effectively partner with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exemplary care outcomes. Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice. Preceptor support for new staff and interns. Welcome new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Practice in a technologically complex clinical setting, managing ventilator integration, adaptive pulmonary support, and airway management across multiple levels of care. Engage in career ladder promotion through clinical and process improvement projects at unit, division, regional or system level.
