Mechanical Design Engineer - Build What You Design (Not Just CAD It)

Location : West-Central, IN (On-Site)

This is a hands-on Mechanical Design role where you’ll actually see your work come to life-on the floor, in real time, from concept through final build and testing.

Engineers here don’t get siloed-you’ll own projects from concept through build and testing, working side-by-side with machining, fabrication, and controls to bring complex equipment to life.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Design custom machinery and mechanical systems from the ground up
• Collaborate directly with shop floor teams to bring designs to life
• Support build, testing, and real-world troubleshooting
• Solve complex engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For :

• Mechanical Design experience (machinery, equipment, or custom systems preferred)
• Strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks highly preferred)
• Understanding of machining, fabrication, and real-world manufacturing
• Someone who wants to be hands-on, not just behind a desk

Compensation & Benefits :

• $85,000 - $130,000 base (based on experience)
