We offer a range of services for dogs, cats, and exotic pets - including dental care, preventative medicine, and emergency services. We are equipped to handle a variety of medical conditions and injuries, from routine check-ups to complex surgeries. We understand that exotic pets require specialized care and attention. That’s why we take the time to get to know each and every one of our patients and work closely with their owners to ensure that they receive the best possible care! Our team has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of avian species, from parrots and cockatiels to raptors and waterfowl. We use the latest technology and medical techniques to ensure that our feathered patients receive the best possible care. Our hours of operation are: Mon-Fri: 7:30AM - 6PM Sat: 7:30AM - 2PM We are closed on Sundays Job duties include, but are not limited to: Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases. We’re looking for: A Registered Veterinary Technician with an active license required , 1+ year professional experience preferred but not required Consistent punctuality and reliability in adherence to scheduled shifts Availability to work Saturdays Experience with Exotics is a plus!
