MTK Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport, Oregon .

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Varied (Every Weekend Required)

Job Responsibilities


As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide respiratory care services to both critical and non-critical patients of all ages. Responsibilities include:

• Assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Administering respiratory therapies and diagnostic procedures.
• Operating and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment.
• Responding to emergency respiratory situations.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Accurately documenting patient care in Epic EMR.
• Following evidence-based respiratory care practices and hospital policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Active Oregon Respiratory Care License required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills.
