MTK Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport, Oregon .

Facility: Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 hours per week
Shift: Varied (Every Weekend Required)
EMR: Epic

Job Responsibilities

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide respiratory care services to both critical and non-critical patients of all ages. Responsibilities include:

Assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
Administering respiratory therapies and diagnostic procedures.
Operating and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment.
Responding to emergency respiratory situations.
Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Accurately documenting patient care in Epic EMR.
Following evidence-based respiratory care practices and hospital policies.

Minimum Qualifications

Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
Active Oregon Respiratory Care License required.
Current BLS certification.
Current ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience preferred.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills.
