Position Details

- Facility: Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift: Varied (Every Weekend Required)
- EMR: Epic
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide respiratory care services to both critical and non-critical patients of all ages. Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Administering respiratory therapies and diagnostic procedures.
- Operating and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment.
- Responding to emergency respiratory situations.
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Accurately documenting patient care in Epic EMR.
- Following evidence-based respiratory care practices and hospital policies.
- Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
- Active Oregon Respiratory Care License required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills.
- 13-week travel contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Varied shifts with weekend coverage
- Work with a collaborative cardiopulmonary team
- Opportunity to care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients
- Beautiful Oregon Coast location
