Blood Drawer Specialist

Job Location: Albany, NY

Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday with alternating Saturdays

Duration: 3 months with potential for permanent placement

Summary: Primary responsibilities of the Phlebotomist include specimen collection, labeling, centrifuging, and recording maintenance data.

Responsibilities:

Perform blood draws, label specimens, and store according to protocols
Demonstrate venipuncture technique and follow physician orders accurately
Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend training sessions

Minimum Requirements:

Phlebotomy certification and 6 months’ experience in a clinical setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and High School Diploma or GED
