Position Summary

Prestige Extreme is seeking an experienced Purchasing & Procurement Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the procurement of materials, components, and outsourced services necessary to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing purchasing, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to build strong supplier relationships while ensuring materials are delivered on time and at competitive pricing.

Responsibilities:

• Source materials, components, and outside processing services to support production schedules.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotes to ensure the best value while maintaining quality and delivery requirements.
• Issue purchase orders and monitor order status from placement through delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and outsourced services.
• Track open purchase orders and proactively resolve delays or supply chain issues.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and purchasing terms when appropriate.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and operations team to ensure material availability.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish materials as needed.
• Follow up on outstanding orders and communicate delivery updates to internal stakeholders.
• Continuously identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• Strong understanding of purchasing processes, supplier management, and inventory coordination.
• Experience obtaining quotes, placing purchase orders, and negotiating pricing.
• Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using JobBOSS ERP software (or similar ERP/MRP systems).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Preferred:



• Aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Experience coordinating outsourced manufacturing or outside processing.
