Retail Sales Associate

Retail Sales Associate Cox Communications is seeking a Retail Sales Associate who creates outstanding customer experiences. The role requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays, reporting to the Store Manager and supporting team specialists. What You’ll Do Explain and demonstrate product capabilities and offer suggestions based on customer wants and needs. Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention. Assist with opening and closing of the store. Properly handle cash transactions. Participate in workshops, special events, and product demos. Support fellow sales agents as needed. Continuously expand knowledge of Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training. May be required to work at other locations within the same geographic area. Compensation Targeted total compensation of $50,146 per year (base hourly rate of $16.73 plus monthly targeted commissions). Variable compensated based on location, experience, and sales targets. Hourly range is $15.29 to $22.88, with an annual incentive/commission target of $15,348. Benefits Employees are eligible for a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off each month and seven paid holidays each year. Additional paid leave is available for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer time, military, and parental leave. Qualifications Minimum: High school diploma/GED or up to 2 years of relevant work experience. Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative, solutions‑based approach. Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced team environment. Mobile within the store for extended periods to greet customers and demonstrate products. Computer literacy and aptitude for learning communication products and services. Willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays. Ability to lift 25–50 pounds for stock room inventory. Preferred: Some college experience with a focus in sales, business, and/or management. One year of experience in a related field (Sales, Retail Sales, Service Industry). Experience selling Wireless/Mobile products. Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
