Job Summary:

The Compliance & Contracts Paralegal provides legal and regulatory support across all ECG operations, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and healthcare compliance standards. This role will also support SEC filings, investor compliance, and governance activities, working closely with the legal department and executive leadership to minimize risk and maintain operational integrity. Some of the duties at this level include assisting with gathering budget and accounting data for budget development and administrative responsibility. Work is performed under intermediate supervision by director and / or other administrative superiors; however, the employee is expected to exercise good judgement and discretion within the limits of established procedures.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Draft, review, and maintain contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence
  • Assist with regulatory compliance, including CMS, HIPAA, and healthcare program requirements
  • Support SEC filings, investor communications, and corporate governance documentation
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations and legal standards
  • Conduct legal research and provide summaries to leadership on regulatory changes affecting operations
  • Participate in company staff meetings and attend other meetings as directed
  • Organize, track, and maintain corporate records, legal filings, and compliance databases
  • Support risk management efforts by assisting with internal audits and due diligence processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Liaise with outside counsel and regulatory bodies as needed
