Radiology Technician

CT Technologist – Radiology/CTSchedule: - 12-hour shifts; schedule may vary week-to-week, including both weekdays and weekends.Assignment Details: - Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs/week (facility may call off up to 3 times in a 13-week assignment).Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year scanning on a Siemens scanner required. - ARRT-CT certification (in hand). - BLS certification. - Experience with Siemens CT scanners. - Experience in contrast administration and PACS. - Knowledge of CT trauma/stroke protocols and portable CT.Roles & Responsibilities: - Perform CT scans on patients across a diverse population, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. - Administer contrast media as necessary and monitor patients' responses. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and optimize imaging protocols. - Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures and findings in the electronic health record. - Adhere to safety protocols and ensure equipment functionality. - Educate patients and their families regarding procedures to alleviate concerns and promote compliance.Compliance / Notes: - Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only). - Drug screen within 30 days of start date. - No local candidates within 100-mile radius; non-local driver's license required on file.
