Your future role at a glance Location: Tulsa, OK Facility: Ascension St. John Medical Center Department/Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Schedule: Full-time day shift, Mondays through Fridays only, 6:30am-5:00pm, four 10-hour shifts, days TBD. Call required. Must be able to work occasional night, weekend, or holiday. Advocate for patient safety through vigilant monitoring and real-time communication, managing the total nursing care journey for patients during their most vulnerable moments. Orchestrate the operative suite by expertly preparing specialized cardiovascular instrumentation and advanced technology, ensuring the team is equipped for success before the first incision. Collaborate as a critical partner to surgeons and anesthesia providers, proactively managing line access and intubation to maintain physiological stability throughout the case. What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. One or more of the following: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
