Welder/FabricatorAs a welder/fabricator at Wright Concrete Construction, your main responsibility will be to fabricate and weld metal components to create structures and equipment. You will play a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring the quality and durability of the final products. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from small-scale structures to large-scale industrial equipment.Minimum qualifications:Proven experience as a welder/fabricator, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.Strong knowledge of different welding techniques and equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.Ability to operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Preferred qualifications:Certification in welding or a related field.Experience working in the construction industry.Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations related to welding and fabrication.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and dimensions of the metal components to be fabricated.Operate welding equipment to join and fabricate metal components, ensuring the accuracy and quality of the welds.Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and smooth metal components, ensuring they meet the required specifications.Inspect and test welded and fabricated components to ensure they meet the quality standards and project requirements.Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the fabrication process.Skills:In this role, your welding and fabrication skills will be essential in creating strong and durable structures and equipment.
