Bring your eye-care experience to a doctor-owned practice where your skills and patient care matter.

StarVision Optometry is seeking a dependable part-time optometric technician to work closely with Dr. Star Rostankovski, prepare patients for examinations, and help keep visits accurate, comfortable, and organized. Experienced ophthalmic technicians are encouraged to apply. Prior hands-on optometric or ophthalmic technician experience is strongly preferred.

You'll work directly with the practice owner and receive paid training on our workflow, with opportunities to build your skills and take on additional responsibilities as the practice grows.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Welcome patients, collect histories, and prepare patients for examinations.

• Perform preliminary testing and diagnostic imaging within your training and the doctor's direction.

• Keep patient records and testing information accurate, complete, and ready for the examination.

• Communicate clearly with patients and the doctor, and flag questions or concerns promptly.

• Support check-in/check-out, appointment coordination, insurance verification, and contact lens education as assigned and within your training.

• Keep testing areas prepared and help clinic visits run smoothly.

WHAT MAKES A STRONG FIT

• Hands-on experience supporting an optometrist or ophthalmologist.

• Experience with pretesting, OCT, retinal photography, visual-field testing, and electronic medical records is valuable. Tell us which duties and tests you can perform independently.

• EyeCloud Pro experience is a plus; paid training is provided on our practice workflow.

• Careful documentation, reliable attendance, a kind approach to patients, and dependable follow-through.

PAY, TRAINING, AND SCHEDULE

$20–$22 per hour, based on relevant experience and demonstrated skills. Paid training is provided.

This is a part-time position. Weekly hours and shifts are not yet finalized. We will discuss your availability and our coverage needs, then agree on your recurring schedule before hiring. Additional hours may become available as clinic days expand.
