Job Description Journeyman Plumber Pay: Competitive Hourly Pay $25-$35/hr (Based on Experience) Job Type: Full-Time Work Location: Commercial Construction Projects Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our growing commercial construction team. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems on a variety of projects while ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and code requirements. Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble piping systems using a variety of hand and power tools. Install piping supports, hangers, valves, fixtures, and plumbing equipment. Perform rough-in and finish plumbing installations on commercial construction projects. Braze and solder copper piping as required. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and fellow tradespeople to meet project schedules. Mentor and assist apprentice plumbers by providing hands-on training and guidance. Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and jobsite procedures. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of commercial plumbing experience required. High School Diploma or GED required. Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and installation practices. Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings. Experience brazing copper piping. Proficient with plumbing hand tools and power equipment. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. OSHA 10 Certification preferred. Valid driver's license preferred. Preferred Qualifications Journeyman Plumbing License (where applicable) Experience on large commercial, healthcare, industrial, or institutional construction projects. Experience mentoring apprentice plumbers. CPR/First Aid Certification. Physical Requirements Lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 60 pounds. Work from ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, and rooftops. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, squat, climb, and reach throughout the workday. Work safely in confined spaces. Perform work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures and varying weather conditions. Demonstrate good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to perform detailed installation work. Successfully pass required drug screenings and maintain a drug-free workplace.
