Full Time Legal Assistant/Paralegal opening:

Sole practitioner specializing in Real Estate Law for 30 years located in Sunnyvale has an opening for a full time legal assistant/paralegal with some experience preferred. Four year college degree required.

The ideal candidate must be able to handle various duties including:

·        File management

·        Drafting correspondence

·        Writing demand letters

·        Reading and summarizing records

·        Interacting with clients and landlords

The candidate must also be able to work in a small office environment and:

·        Possess exceptional attention to detail

·        Be highly organized

·        Ability to work independently with minimal direction

·        Be independently resourceful

·        Possess strong oral and written communication skills

Further characteristics of a successful candidate must include the following:

·        Able to handle rejections for court filings

·        Excellent customer service skills on the phone

·        Demonstrative Proficiency in:

o   Microsoft Word

o   Excel

o   Adobe Acrobat

Pay rate will commensurate with demonstrated skill level and experience.  Successful candidate will be eligible for health insurance and other employee benefits after the initial three months assessment period.
