Onsight/Hybrid Local to Brookfield, WI office is preferred - If they cannot find local they are open to other TOS locations (Minneapolis, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, San Francisco)Duration: 12 months: through 11/30/2023Interview process (how many rounds, who is involved?): 1 and done Teams IVQual Notes:Project:This role is part of the Partner Technology Acceleration (PTA) teamsThey are working on a web application called PTA Servicing – partners are able to login to service their credit cards – view transactions, check balance, make payments, etc.This team is responsible for providing the APIs to support the appResponsibilities:Work closely with Product Manager to understand requirementsSupporting backend mainframe systemsHands on programming – will be using z/OS to expose the CICS components to REST APIsCoordinate with the offshore teamOn-call – there will initially be no on-call hours, but will be expected to support releases during off hours down the roadThey can work alternate days/hours in this caseMust Haves:COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCLz/OS – understands this may be more difficult to find, but this would be a huge plusUnderstanding of modern Java/API technology – don’t need to be able to codeJob Description listed in Beeline:Expertise with COBOL, DB2, CICS, zOS Connect, JCL.Performs all or part of full life cycle development process with an emphasis on developing business applications, supporting existing applications, modifying/enhancing them support current needs, and implementing the changes necessary as the needs of the business units change.Usually involves high-volume and large-scale batch or online processing. Experience in providing solutions, designs for complex problems. Onsite/offshore coordination is required for this role.Experience in Jira, IDz is preferred.
