Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in San Antonio, TX. This role involves providing pulmonary care for critical, non-critical, and chronically ill adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under physician direction. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital setting, specifically within PICU, NICU, or pediatric ER environments.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Respond to emergency Code Blue and White calls
• Manage airways including nasotracheal and endotracheal suctioning
• Deliver aerosolized drugs therapy
• Setup and operate ventilators
• Perform oral hygiene and airway maintenance
• Manage BiPAP and CPAP devices
• Administer oxygen therapy and monitor therapeutic effects
• Conduct chest film and EKG analysis
• Collect and analyze blood gases
• Accurate documentation and equipment maintenance
• Participate in CAP and JC surveys

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• RT or RCP License in the state of TX required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• ACLS certification (AHA only) required
• PALS certification (AHA only) required
• NRP certification required
• 1-3 years of experience preferred
