Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Schedule: 8am–4pm Excellent Benefits Supportive Management Immediately Available You've got the hands-on skills and can fix just about anything — and you like being the person everyone counts on when something breaks. The W Assisted Living Communities is looking for a compassionate, energetic Maintenance Technician to keep our community safe, comfortable, and running smoothly for our residents. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Handle a variety of repairs — plumbing, electrical, lighting, sheetrock, flooring, and painting Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff Prepare apartment homes for new residents (cleaning, minor repairs, turnover) Tour the facility and grounds regularly to catch safety issues before they become problems Maintain proper storage and organization of maintenance supplies and equipment Report any unusual conditions or equipment malfunctions right away Pitch in to help set up community activities and events when needed QUALIFICATIONS: Prior maintenance, housekeeping, or janitorial experience Basic construction and repair skills A positive attitude and genuine enjoyment of working with people Comfortable with a variety of tasks and a fast-moving day Prior experience in an Assisted Living Facility is a big plus, but not required Ability to interact with residents with respect and dignity BENEFITS: Competitive salary Health benefits Paid time off, sick time, and holidays Retirement investment opportunity Unlimited employee referral bonuses Growth and development paths based on your interests Supportive, open-door management Reliable schedule WHY WORK AT THE W GROUP?
