Location: Dallas, TX Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday Employment Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $90K About the Role A growing flooring installation company in the Dallas market is seeking an experienced Estimator with strong proficiency in MeasureSquare. This role is responsible for producing accurate takeoffs, material quantities, and labor estimates to support project planning and bid submissions. The Estimator will work closely with project management and operations teams to ensure estimates are precise, timely, and aligned with project requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed flooring estimates using MeasureSquare software. Review project plans, specifications, and site information to determine scope and material needs. Generate accurate takeoffs, quantities, and labor calculations for various flooring products. Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to validate assumptions and ensure alignment with project timelines. Identify cost-saving opportunities, potential risks, and discrepancies in project documents. Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and supporting documentation. Assist with bid preparation and provide timely responses to internal stakeholders. Required Experience & Qualifications Hands-on experience with MeasureSquare for flooring estimation (required). Prior estimating experience in flooring installation, construction, or related trades. Strong understanding of flooring materials, installation methods, and project workflows. High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, reliable estimates. Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience estimating tile and commercial flooring projects. Familiarity with construction drawings, blueprints, and takeoff tools. Knowledge of project management or construction management systems.
