Pharmacy Technician Opportunity
An ambulatory clinic in Black River Falls, WI, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to fill a temporary, temp-to-hire role for a duration of 13+ weeks. This opportunity offers a Monday through Friday weekday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare, dispense, and label medications in compliance with pharmacy protocols.
- Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and inventory management.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and safety guidelines.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Valid Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license required.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred.
- Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred but all levels of experience will be considered.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work effectively in an ambulatory clinic environment.
This contract role is pending agreement finalization and may convert to a permanent position. Candidates open to temporary assignments and potentially long-term employment are encouraged to apply. Flexibility to travel or relocate to Black River Falls is necessary.
