Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 9 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience License: RN license (verification must be less than 30 days old) Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, NIHSS Certification (to be obtained within 48 hours if offered) Must-Have: 2+ years experience working with stroke patients Willingness to take Telemetry patients as needed Willingness to obtain mRS/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered COVID vaccination required; declinations not accepted Candidates with scheduling restrictions will not be accepted Locals accepted Description: This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies. It adheres to the standards of professional nursing practice. The position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This role utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care. Care is appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
