Parts Counterperson

If your career goals include making a valuable contribution as a Lead Parts Counterperson in an exciting and growing company and working with top professionals in the industry, then consider joining our team, We are seeking enthusiastic, hard-working, customer-oriented individuals who can work in a team environment as a Lead Parts Counterperson builds sales by developing dealer and distributor programs and processing orders and directing customer fleet service repair into our service centers. Responsibilities: Works with counter personnel to update service department on backordered parts list twice a week. Train new parts personnel on procedures and navigating our system. Works hand in hand with service department to make sure procedures are followed and department procedures are efficient. Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. Reviews and understands the numbers needed to achieve the Monthly/Yearly goals in the parts and service department. Informs customers of companion part requirements, specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line. Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information within a timely matter. Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate. Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six-plus months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Flexible schedule - must be available to work some Saturdays. Must have computer proficiency. Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service. Valid driver's license.
