Title: Senior Electrical Engineer (PE Required) - MEP DesignLocation: Austin, TX or San Antonio, TXSalary: $140,000 - $170,000 + Bonus + Relocation AssistanceFounded in the early 2000s, we are a 100 employee firm with roughly 25-30 staff in our Austin and San Antonio offices. We provide full service mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering solutions for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. Our portfolio spans K12 and higher education campuses, healthcare clinics, corporate and government facilities, and performing arts and sports recreation centers. At these locations, the focus is on delivering safe, code compliant, and cost effective electrical systems integrated into multidisciplinary building designs.The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead electrical design projects from concept through construction, ensuring NEC compliance, technical excellence, and client satisfaction. As a licensed Professional Engineer, you will stamp drawings, take professional responsibility for designs, and mentor junior engineers.What You Will Be Doing Lead electrical design for power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, emergency systems, grounding, and low voltage systemsDevelop and review electrical plans, specifications, single line diagrams, load calculations, and equipment schedules using Revit and AutoCADPerform electrical calculations including short circuit, coordination, voltage drop, and load analysis to support system designPrepare construction documents, cost estimates, and bid review packages; review contractor submittals and shop drawingsProvide construction administration and field support, including site visits, RFI responses, and commissioning supportStamp and take professional responsibility for electrical designs, ensuring compliance with NEC and local codesWhat You Need for this PositionBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or equivalent)Professional Engineer license in Electrical Engineering; Texas licensure required, multi state a plusSeven or more years of electrical engineering design with proven project leadership and mentoring abilityRevit expertise and AutoCAD proficiency for electrical design and documentationNEC mastery with experience applying local codes and utility standardsClient facing communication and multidisciplinary coordination across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teamsWhat's In It for YouFull Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k w/ matching) and more!IF interested can you provide an updated resume & salary requirements to View email address on click.appcast.io
