Marketing Analyst

The primary role of this individual will be to build, enhance, and maintain a business intelligence platform to support business intelligence and advanced analytics requirements. The selected candidate will engage with our business and operations teams from initial project definition through to project completion and will work on multiple projects. Responsibilities include developing reporting and analytical solutions, maintaining a full suite of documentation, and performing light application updates to enable such solutions, alongside delivering company reporting and dashboard solutions, documentation, light application enhancements, and custom analysis. Deliverables will streamline our reporting operations and enable new insights that support business strategy, marketing, and operations. What You'll Do: Analyze complex datasets, extracted using SQL, to deliver actionable insights for the Lottery’s digital initiatives to drive good business decisions Analyze and benchmark performance across multiple channels and platforms, and provide recommendations for areas of future growth Analyze CRM bonus campaign performance and provide recommendations for the generation of new campaigns Perform industry monitoring and reporting to keep the management team well informed of interactive market trends and innovations Elicit analytical and reporting requirements from the Lottery and work with Product Owners to ensure the requirements are delivered Attend the Lottery meetings and internal meetings to stay informed of new requests, features, and improvement areas, and provide support when necessary Attend training and conferences as necessary to build knowledge and refine skills Coordinate projects or requirement elicitation between the Lottery and vendors, when assigned What We're Looking For: 3+ years of experience working within a Marketing Analytics/Business Analytics environment, with a focus on strategy, operations, and marketing data analysis Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a focus in Business, Marketing, or Economics preferred Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) with writing complex SQL Queries Advanced Excel (Power Pivot, Power View, Power Query, Pivot Tables, Lookups, etc.) Expertise in gathering and documenting internal and external client requirements Expertise in analyzing complex data sets and converting them into actionable insights, which drives business decisions Experience in ensuring data integrity and validating results, with high attention to detail and accuracy Support, advise, and collaborate to deliver ad-hoc reports and data, as necessary to meet the needs of the department Experience with the Power BI reporting tools. Capable of investigating, familiarizing, and mastering new data sets quickly Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem‑solving skills Motivated individual with technical‑functional expertise who can collaborate with both business and technology teams Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently Gaming analysis experience preferred but not required Benefits and Compensation Pay Range: $73,500 - $136,500 per year. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with employer matching.
