Ryder is hiring a CDL A Regional Dry Van Driver in Kansas City, MO. regional driver can anticipate quality home time with family and friends while usually being home through the week and/or on weekends or a combination of both. Compensation:

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,537+
  • $30.00 per hour with 47.5 hours per week
  • Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night per layover 2- 3 nights per Week

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

• Home mutiple days weekly
  • out 2-3 days per week
• Start times 12am-6am
• Monday – Friday, Saturday as needed
• Route:  MO, KS, IA, NE, IL, SD, ND
• Touch freight – retail goods
  • driver unload only

Equipment:

• Trucks are 36 months or newer
• Sleeper
• Dry van or Reefer, 53’
• 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL A License
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
• Must live within 30 miles of Kansas City, MO
