Substitute Per Diem Custodian

Job Description Coventry Public Schools is seeking to hire substitute per diem custodians. Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour. Starting Date Immediately Job Overview Provide a variety of services pertaining to the cleanliness and upkeep of offices, rest rooms, stairways, corridor, and academic areas. Responsibilities Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, stairways, corridors, and academic areas. Perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Collaborate effectively as part of a team. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred, but not required. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and polishing, is desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
