Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Uniontown, OH Schedule: Monday–Friday Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 + ESOP + Profit Sharing About The Company Our client is a 100% employee‑owned (ESOP) organization experiencing consistent double‑digit growth with an impressive average employee tenure of 10+ years. The company operates across multiple business units, including healthcare‑related services and a legacy manufacturing arm, resulting in a complex, multi‑entity accounting environment with meaningful exposure and impact. Position Overview This Senior Accountant role is a hands‑on position with a strong emphasis on revenue recognition and deferred revenue in a multi‑entity structure. This individual will act as a key process owner, supporting several divisions, strengthening billing and revenue workflows, and taking ownership of critical components of the month‑end close. Senior Accountant - Responsibilities Serve as the primary owner of deferred revenue and revenue recognition, with a focus on subscription and contract‑based billing Drive month‑end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations Support and troubleshoot billing systems while identifying and implementing process improvements Collaborate closely with billing, operations, and cross‑functional teams Review and interpret customer contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition and financial reporting alignment Senior Accountant - Qualifications 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience Proven ownership of month‑end close processes Strong hands‑on experience with deferred revenue, accruals, and reconciliations Background in subscription‑based or contract‑driven revenue models is a plus Senior Accountant - Personality Fit Self‑directed and proactive; thrives without constant oversight Takes full ownership of processes and follows through Comfortable questioning existing processes and driving improvements #J-18808-Ljbffr CFS
