Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing exciting success and sustainable growth. As a result, we have a full-time position available for a water/wastewater project engineer for both public and private sector clients. Responsibilities include: Serving as the project engineer for civil/environmental water and wastewater projects Overseeing the design of water and wastewater treatment facilities for municipalities, industries, and investor-owned utilities Assisting with construction administration associated with facilitiesli> Developing calculations and detailed design Collaborating with project managers and clients toward implementation of designs Writing engineering reports and technical memoranda Mentoring and providing technical guidance to staff Some travel will be required. The successful candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil, environmental, chemical or biological engineering from an accredited college or university At least four (4) years of relevant water/wastewater project experience PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: Experience with planning, design and analysis of municipal infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater systems, sewer force mains, lift stations, and similar projects Experience with groundwater wells, clear wells, elevated storage tanks, and pump stations Hydraulic and/or treatment modeling experience Construction observation experience Experience with municipal and county government client interaction Experience creating project scope and fees If you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at Mead & Hunt proudly offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid sick leave, parental leave, a 401K plan with a generous company match, life and disability insurance, and an employee assistance program.
