Job Details Job Location: Liverpool - Syracuse, NY 13088 Position Type: Per Diem Education Level: None Salary Range: $18.50 - $20.50 Hourly Direct Support Professional - Liverpool Area (Job #EL-JT) About the Client A 27‑year‑old female in the Liverpool area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist her with making healthy choices, maintaining money management skills, and exploring volunteer opportunities. She enjoys animals, YMCA exercise classes, shopping, getting her nails done, and connecting with others. Responsibilities Assist the client with making healthy choices and maintaining money management skills. Support the client in exploring volunteer opportunities. Participate alongside the client during exercise classes, including pool aerobics. Provide personal care assistance in a restroom setting as needed. Bring or purchase lunch while out with the client; staff will be reimbursed. Travel to various locations as required. Schedule Hours and days of work: Mondays 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Tuesdays 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Part‑time position; additional hours available with other clients. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age. Ability to work independently in the client’s home and/or community. Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills. No prior experience required, but experience working with people with disabilities preferred. New York State driver's license, reliable transportation, proof of auto insurance, and acceptable driving record required.
