As a Management Development Associate, you will embark on a personal and professional development experience a classroom simply can't offer. As an Accounting Management Development Associate at Nestlé Purina, we will coach you from the start, shaping your career trajectory for continuous learning and growth. Together, we'll explore finance and controls, supply chain, quality assurance, safety, engineering, production, R&D engineering, information systems, and operations performance to understand the interconnected and collaborative nature of manufacturing. You will gain experience in developing and maintaining the necessary accounting systems, procedures, controls and audits. Additionally, you will receive training to familiarize yourself with all areas of the inventory management controls department.Why choose a leadership developmental role with us? With a relocation assistance package, each move will be supported so that you can focus on learning end-to-end processes, building your network, and launching your career.Responsibilities:Maintain communication with the Plant Manager, Department Managers and Team Leaders on all matters relating to and affecting factory accounting and controlsProduce accurate and timely departmental training reports, complete with flow diagrams for the entire plantTrain and develop a working knowledge of our inventory control systems to include input, internal controls report capabilities and analysisAssist in reconciliation of inventories and participation in periodic inventories of raw materials and finished goodsPerform month-end closing functions and analysis reportsConduct audits and compliance testingRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or related discipline attained or expected by June 2027Must be open to relocation to any of our 24 Nestlé Purina manufacturing sites across the U.S. as you progress through the MDA programYou will start your rotation for this Accounting MDA at the Nestlé Purina factory in Davenport, IowaOther Prior internship, co-op, practicum or manufacturing experience preferredInvolvement in student organizations and/or other leadership experience preferredThe starting pay for this position is $72,000 per year. Please note that the pay provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
