About the Role Our client, a boutique marketing agency focused on customer loyalty programs, is seeking an enthusiastic and communicative Customer Engagement Specialist to join their team in Welkom, Free State, ZA . Key Responsibilities Execute customer engagement strategies across multiple channels, including social media, email, and in-app messaging. Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely, professional, and brand-aligned manner. Monitor social media channels and online forums for customer sentiment and engagement opportunities. Develop and implement initiatives to increase customer participation and loyalty. Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content and campaigns. Assist in resolving customer issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate team. Track and report on key engagement metrics and campaign performance. Represent the brand positively and professionally in all customer interactions. Requirements Proven experience in customer service, community management, or a related client-facing role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional tone. Strong understanding of social media platforms and online community dynamics. Experience with CRM software and customer engagement tools is a plus. Ability to analyze customer feedback and translate it into actionable insights. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse customer segments. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Must be able to work on-site in Welkom, Free State, ZA . Previous experience in a marketing or agency environment is advantageous.
