Physical Therapist, General, in Gloversville, NY. This travel assignment begins on 11/23/2026 and runs for 12 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $2,347 to $2,390. Guaranteed hours are not specified. Shift is Saturdays only, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (PRN). - Travel assignment with dedicated recruiter support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing PT evaluations to determine patient goals and plan of care.
- Develop and implement individualized exercise programs, including gait and balance training, ROM and strengthening, and functional mobility activities.
- Apply appropriate manual therapy and modalities as indicated to reduce pain and improve function.
- Monitor patient progress, document sessions accurately, and update the plan of care accordingly.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate discharge planning and optimize rehab outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and fall prevention; ensure patient safety during therapy sessions. Requirements
- Active New York Physical Therapist license
- BLS certification required
- Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (nursing home) required
- Availability to work Saturdays (8:00 am–4:30 pm) on a PRN basis
- Able to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary care team
- Eligibility to work in the United States Benefits and Support
