Production Worker – Food Manufacturing (Immediate Openings)

Full‑time | 1st & 2nd Shift | Training Provided | Career Growth Opportunities

We are seeking motivated Production Workers to join our growing food manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll operate production equipment, mix and measure ingredients, run extrusion processes, and ensure products meet strict quality standards. This is a hands‑on position ideal for individuals who want stability, training, and advancement opportunities in a GMP‑regulated environment.

• Mix and batch ingredients following manufacturing orders and specifications
• Operate extrusion equipment to produce high‑quality finished products
• Perform sensory checks to ensure product consistency and customer satisfaction
• Transfer batches using drums, carts, or trays
• Polish and finish products using panning equipment and liquid applications
• Use RF scanners and hand tools to track inventory and support production flow

• 1+ year of manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Experience with mixing, batching, extrusion, polishing, or finishing a plus
• Ability to lift/move up to 56 lbs. with or without accommodation
• Strong English and math skills for reading, writing, and interpreting safety rules and manuals
• Reliable, flexible, and willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
• Team‑oriented mindset with strong work ethic

• 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
• GMP‑regulated facility with 8 production rooms and 4 packaging lines
• Strict hygiene and safety protocols: uniform, hair net, beard net, safety shoes, hand/boot sanitization before entering each room
• Fast‑paced, hands‑on environment focused on safety, sanitation, and product quality

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
