A Compounding Operator I performs extrusion processes based on specifications provided by engineering. Following process sheets and supervisor instructions, they complete production tasks and inspect results to ensure they meet predetermined tolerances. What you will be doing: Sets up and operates a variety of machines used in the production of the company's materials Responsible to meet the established production schedule for each assigned line of material Will feed materials for processing, mix resin based on specified work instructions from engineering Adjusting settings based on documented specifications and tolerances Performing minor repairs and troubleshooting and pulling finished product from the line Documentation of all line data sheets on individual assigned lines Identify and report issues with quality and out of specification filament Maintain a 5S work cell Maintain other work in assigned areas during periods of downtime or extended product run time Maintain all process certifications for packaging and extrusion Must have for this role: 2-4 years in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of computers to be able to: send and receive emails, use ADP/HR management systems Ability to read and understand work instructions to be able to achieve production goals Nice to have: Demonstrated experience on extrusion lines What you will be part of: Company Overview - Our Culture and Values - Our Sustainability “3D Printing a Better Tomorrow” - Our Locations - Check out our Video - Additional Information: For this position, the typical starting pay rate is from $22 to $25 per hour, which does not include variable incentive pay. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. Your individual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, geographical location, and/or experiences.
