Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,004 per week

Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) assignment in Medford, Oregon. Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel We are looking for an ICU RN with 1-2 years recent acute care experience. The role includes evaluating and monitoring patients in a life‑threatening situation, documenting physician‑directed care, implementing patient care plans, delegating as needed, and providing education and support to families. Key Responsibilities Provide basic bedside care. Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions. Order and evaluate diagnostic tests. Take samples for lab work, order corresponding lab work and interpret reports. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, and interpret and record electronic displays. Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads and tubing. Communicate patients' conditions to family members. Physical requirements: stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop without difficulty, lift up to 20 pounds routinely and occasionally up to 50 pounds. RNs may encounter exposure to hazardous chemicals or infectious diseases and handle confused, agitated, or uncooperative patients.
