Behavioral Health Clinician (Remote – California License Required) Schedule: Full‐time, 32 hours/week Location: Fully Remote (Must work Pacific Time Zone) Pay Range: $32.21 – $40.27/hr Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), 13 Paid Holidays, PTO Bilingual: Not required, but preferred About the Role MPG is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Clinician to join our integrated primary care team. This fully remote position provides independent assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with mental health and substance use conditions across outpatient, virtual, and primary care settings. You will manage a complex patient panel, deliver evidence‐based psychotherapy, collaborate closely with primary care and psychiatry, and support junior behavioral health staff. Because most patients are located in California, an active, unrestricted California clinical license is required. Clinicians deliver care through video visits, primarily in California, using evidence‐based symptom‐management models.**How will you make an impact & Requirements**# **Key Responsibilities*** Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and establish DSM‐5‐TR diagnoses* Develop individualized treatment plans for diverse mental health and substance use conditions* Provide individual and group psychotherapy using evidence‐based modalities such as **CBT**, **DBT**, **ACT**, motivational interviewing, and problem‐solving therapy* Manage patient risk through safety assessments, crisis intervention, and higher‐level‐of‐care coordination* Partner with psychiatry, primary care, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, whole‐person care* Participate in clinical quality initiatives, case consultations, peer review, and outcomes monitoring* Mentor Behavioral Health Consultants and junior clinical staff* Maintain timely, accurate EHR documentation in compliance with licensing and regulatory standards* Coordinate with psychiatric consultants and PCPs to manage patient panels and communicate recommendations* Deliver virtual care aligned with evidence‐based symptom‐management models## **What You Bring*** Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field* **Active, unrestricted California license** (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent)* Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states* **3+ years post‐licensure** providing psychotherapy across diverse populations* Advanced training or competency in at least one evidence‐based modality (CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, PST, trauma‐focused therapy, etc.)* Experience with high‐acuity situations including crisis intervention and safety planning* Strong EHR documentation skills and familiarity with regulatory and payor requirements* Ability to work independently across multiple care settings with minimal supervision* Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and comfort managing complex cases* Ability to work **Pacific Time Zone hours**## **Benefits*** Medical, Dental, Vision* **401(k)*** 13 Paid Holidays* Generous PTO* Fully remote role with schedule flexibility* Collaborative, integrated care environment* Opportunities for mentorship and professional growth #J-18808-Ljbffr Vera Whole Health
