Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
- Document services accurately and in a timely manner
- Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs in alignment with practice acts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families for whole-person care
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)
- Active Virginia state PT license (or ability to obtain before start)
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
- Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs
Education
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient evaluation and functional assessment
- Treatment planning and direct therapy delivery
- Accurate and timely documentation
- Supervision and delegation to support staff
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and family communication
- Compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Adaptability and flexibility in fast-paced settings
