Shang Artisan Noodle / Shang Mian is expanding our leadership team and seeking experienced, driven, and hospitality‐minded Store Managers . We are dedicated to reinterpreting traditional Chinese noodles through a modern lens, delivering food and service that are simple, authentic, and consistently outstanding.

About the Role

As a Store Manager, you will oversee the full operations of the restaurant and ensure excellence in team performance, guest experience, and daily execution.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Hire, train, and develop team members

• Supervise and evaluate performance

• Create schedules and process payroll

• Maintain effective labor and cost control

Communication

• Communicate clearly and promptly with guests, staff, management, and vendors

• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment

Operations Management

• Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards

• Deliver an exceptional guest dining experience

• Maintain store cleanliness and uphold safety and regulatory compliance

• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full‐service restaurant management experience (preferred)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment

• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

• SERV Safe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain)

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Shift Options

• 8‐hour, 10‐hour, or 12‐hour shifts

• Morning, day, evening, and night shifts

• Day and night shift availability required

Here, the labor-intensive, centuries-old technique of kneading and hand-pulling dough is still executed by skilled artisans with deft hands. Silken and springy in equal measure, the noodles are used in a diverse array of hot and cold dishes that reflect the unique culture of this particular region.
