Registered Nurse - Family Birthing CenterLocation: Salida, COAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule: Shift: 6 pm to 6 am, 36 hours per week. Weekends and holidays may be required.Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Family Birthing Center. The RN will independently assess and evaluate the health status of labor and neonate patients utilizing both objective and subjective data, identifying healthcare problems and collaborating with patients, families, and providers to establish realistic care plans.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care and monitor responses during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.Educate mothers on wellness during pregnancy and postpartum care.Provide infant care education to mothers.Document all relevant events and education in patient medical records.Communicate patient conditions accurately to physicians and nursing supervisors.Collaborate with nursery nurses in the care of mother/baby couplets.Assist physicians with procedures and support nursing staff during emergencies in other units.Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patients in the Family Birthing Center.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum of two years of nursing experience.Current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.BLS and NRP certification required; ACLS preferred.Associate's Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program is mandatory.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
